Based on published case law, it identifies the most active claimants, where claimants and defendants come from, which industries are most frequently involved in litigation, and how forum selection differs by claimants’ nationalities. Some highlights ✨: ▪️The UPC is most frequently used by electronics and tech companies, with only 1 life sciences patentee in the top 10 of most active claimants. ▪️38% of claimant entities are non-European, mainly from North America and Asia.
