# Roeland Grijpink promoted to partner at HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER

 08 January 2024  Event News Leading European IP boutique HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER has promoted [Roeland Grijpink](https://www.hoyngrokhmonegier.com/our-team/legal-experts/roeland-grijpink) to partner.




[Roeland](https://www.hoyngrokhmonegier.com/our-team/legal-experts/roeland-grijpink) joined the team in Amsterdam in 2012. His practice covers all areas of intellectual property law, with a special focus on patents. His clients include multinationals as well as SMEs and innovative startups. Roeland also litigates and advises on (IP-related) competition law issues and commercial contracts.

Over the years, Roeland developed a particular expertise in assisting clients in litigation of standard-essential patents and “FRAND” issues. Roeland has been recognised as a “[Rising Star](https://www.ipstars.com/Jurisdiction/Netherlands/Rankings/8479#lawyers)” since 2018 by Managing Intellectual Property IP STARS and was selected as “[one to watch in Dutch patent litigation](https://www.juve-patent.com/people-and-business/ones-to-watch-in-dutch-patent-litigation-2023/)” by JUVE Patent in 2023.
