Our approach

We offer our clients advice in the field of intellectual property law, including patents, trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights and designs, as well as in all related areas, such as pharmaceutical regulatory law, competition law, media and advertising law, IT and data protection law, as well as on all contracts related to intellectual property rights.

Your role

  • Residing in our Brussels office, support an international team in a broad range of key marketing and business development activities and communication
  • Provide support to key business development initiatives as determined by the partnership
  • Assist with the production of marketing material and take care of quality control. Maintain and update marketing materials, including CVs, brochures, etc., and assist with general marketing information requests
  • Assist and follow up the entire legal directories process including submissions, coordination of interviews, monitoring of progress and success and liaison with the relevant external suppliers
  • Look into a proper use of the Firm brand and marketing tools within the office and area in scope (use of logo, compliance to brand policies, etc.)
  • Assist in planning, organising and coordinating internal and external events, such as conferences, webinars, client meetings, ensuring adequate support is given in relation to agenda, client invitation and presentations, interaction with external suppliers and parties
  • Assist in drafting and publishing internal and external communications, including (but not limited to) intranet articles, social media posts, public website content, press releases, presentations, pitches etc.
  • Monitor the company website and make content updates

Your profile

  • Degree in marketing, communication or relevant studies
  • Excellent communications skills – oral and written
  • Perfect knowledge of English and Dutch; preferably also a good knowledge of French – oral and written
  • You are proactive, able to work to tight deadlines, reliable and flexible, hands-on and pragmatic, … a problem solver.
  • You are a team player who excels in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, but you are also able to work independently / autonomously and take ownership
  • You are highly structured and demonstrate excellent organisational skills with particular attention to detail. You are very conscientious and accurate.
  • Project Management Skills. You are able to follow up, coordinate and manage multiple projects at the same time and prioritise tasks appropriately
  • Strongly service orientated and capable of adapting your approach towards different situations and (internal and external) stakeholders
  • Microsoft Office has no secrets for you. You know how to perfectly work with Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Knowledge of marketing related software is a strong plus: Canva, WordPress, SEO, CRM, Mailchimp, etc.
