Clara Martinez Berrisch advises and represents national and international clients in in patent infringement and nullity proceedings before German infringement courts, the Federal Patent Court, the Unified Patent Court (UPC) and in opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trade Mark Office.
She has extensive experience coordinating complex national and cross-border patent infringement proceedings for clients in the telecommunications and information technology, electronics, automotive and pharmaceutical sectors. As part of this work, Clara has also developed particular expertise on the disproportionality objection in German and European patent law.
Clara studied law at the University of Münster, specialising in intellectual property law. In 2018, she obtained a Masters of Laws degree (LL.M.) in European Intellectual Property Law from the University of Stockholm. Before joining HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER as an associate, she gained experience in patent litigation working as a trainee at an international law firm in Düsseldorf as well as at HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER.
In 2025, Clara completed training as a mediator (IKOM Frankfurt).
