2024Q:
Why did this move feel right to you?
This move immediately made sense to me, as it felt both exciting and familiar. I already knew HRM from my time here as a trainee, where I actually met Pierre six years ago. So coming back means returning to people and a working environment I genuinely appreciated. At the same time, I am coming back at a different stage, with more experience and with the opportunity to help build something in Paris with real momentum.
Q:
What makes returning to a place you already know different from a completely new move?
There is immediately a sense of trust and connection. I am not joining as a stranger; I know the culture, most of the people in the Paris office and the way the firm operates. That makes it easier to focus quickly on the work itself and on building the next step.
Q:
What do you enjoy most about Soft IP work?
It sits at the intersection of law, business, creativity and brand strategy. Every matter is different and brings new challenges on issues that are often visible, immediate and commercially important. I enjoy how stimulating and demanding those challenges are.
Q:
What makes a team work well under pressure?
Trust, communication and responsiveness. When people know how each other work, things move faster and more smoothly. That matters even more on issues where timing, coordination and consistency are critical.
Q:
What kind of lawyer do you try to be for clients?
Clear, reliable and fully engaged. I believe that building trust with clients starts with strong communication: being available, keeping them informed, and making sure they always know where things stand. Clients should feel that the team is on top of the matter and moving it forward.
Q:
What excites you most about joining HRM now?
The mix of continuity and new energy. There is something very motivating about returning to a place you know, alongside a partner whom you’ve been working with for years, while also being part of a new chapter and helping shape it from the start.
