We’re hiring: Experienced Patent Attorney | high-tech/engineering | Amsterdam

HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER is looking for an experienced Patent Attorney to strengthen our growing patent practice. Depending on your background and interests, the role may include a combination of prosecution, oppositions, advisory work and support in patent litigation matters.

The role would suit a candidate with experience in one or more of the following areas: telecommunications, software, electrical engineering, or a similar high-tech area.

We are looking for someone:

  • who has already qualified as a European/US Patent Attorney, or who has substantial experience in EP/US prosecution and is close to qualification;
  • with an interest in contentious work (experience would be a big plus);
  • who is commercially aware and is confident working directly with clients; and
  • who has excellent English skills.

You will be involved in, among other things:

  • drafting and prosecuting European patent applications for start-ups, scale-ups and multinationals;
  • advising on prosecution strategy for these clients;
  • supporting opposition and appeal work before the EPO;
  • infringement proceedings, working closely with our lawyers, experts and clients on national and UPC matters; and
  • collaborating in teams with colleagues across our offices in five countries.
