He will join HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER as a partner in Düsseldorf and will work closely with colleagues in Amsterdam, Brussels, Lyon, Madrid, and Paris, further expanding the firm's expertise in EPO oppositions and UPC litigation.

Benoit Strowel: “Expanding our litigation expertise in opposition and litigation proceedings in Europe remains a strategic priority for the firm. Thomas' outstanding experience before the EPO and his in-depth procedural knowledge make him an excellent addition to our cross-border team. He will play an important role in further developing our integrated European opposition platform and supporting our work before the UPC.”

Christine Kanz sees the new addition as further strengthening the positioning of the successful pharmaceutical and life sciences litigation practice: "With Thomas Becher, we will make our offering to clients in this sector even more attractive. Our pharmaceutical and life sciences litigation team is already equipped to meet the highest demands with its outstanding lawyers and patent attorneys.
