A milestone in our firm’s history: HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER has been named “Law Firm of the Year for Trade Mark and Unfair Competition Law” by JUVE Germany for the first time. This special recognition reflects our continuous pursuit of legal excellence, client-focused solutions, and long-term, trust-based relationships with our clients.
In the new JUVE Ranking 2025/2026, our team not only advanced one tier in both trade mark and unfair competition law but also celebrated an individual success: Mathis Breuer was recognised as ”next generation” lawyer in trade mark and unfair competition law.
JUVE’s assessment of our firm reads as follows:
“The firm demonstrates impressively how successful and sustainable team development works. While the German soft IP practice used to play a secondary role alongside the well-established patent team, it has evolved into a strong force within the international IP boutique. With a remarkable team size, the practice covers a broad range of expertise. Seven paralegals now manage the rapidly growing trade mark administration practice. HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER has strategically promoted its younger generation in recent years, and alongside Thomas Schmitz, Christina Tenbrock, Ivan Dimitrov and Mathis Breuer are increasingly recognised in the market for their litigation skills. The younger generation also addresses current topics, for example through a newly established AI Taskforce with its own ethical guidelines. The practice’s strong litigation focus continues to deliver highlights: most recently, HOYNG represented Samsung in its first trade mark infringement action against a competitor. Close cooperation with the patent practice generates instructions in both directions, such as for Verifone. ‘Comprehensive top-level advice in trade mark and competition law, always available and reliable, with a pronounced yet healthy fighting spirit. Litigation Champions League,’ praises one client.”
We would like to thank all our colleagues and clients for their trust and ongoing support. Together, we will continue to pursue our work in trademark and competition law, both in Germany and internationally, with the same dedication and passion.
