Marta’s expertise in intellectual property is dedicated to patent and trade secret litigation. Marta handles cases of infringement and invalidity in the fields of medical devices, chemistry, domestic appliances, cosmetic, mechanics, video games, telecommunications. She also handles cases with respect to compensation for employee inventions.

In the past years, she has been ensuring for biopharma companies full coordination of different litigations spreading over an increasing number of European countries together with EPO proceedings.

Attorney-at-law since 2007, Marta Mendes first worked for a niche firm in industrial property law then in the IP/TMT department of an international firm.

She joined the team in January 2011 and became a partner in 2021.
