David Owen is US Patent Attorney and lawyer, Solicitor of England and Wales, en is gerechtigd om op te treden voor het US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) en het Europees Octrooibureau (EOB).

- KPN. Ondersteuning van KPN, een Nederlands telecommunicatiebedrijf, met zijn licentieprogramma in Europa en de VS, inclusief analyse van inbreuk en geldigheid van octrooien, ondersteuning tijdens licentieonderhandelingen en het voorbereiden en indienen van klachten.
- LED. Adviesverlening over octrooien, licenties en de ontwikkeling van een wereldwijde octrooiportefeuille voor een start-up in de LED-technologie.
