Benoît is de managing partner van HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER.
Benoît behaalde een MSc graad maar zijn praktijk is voornamelijk gericht op het octrooirecht. Hij is lid van de balies van Parijs en Brussel en is een gekwalificeerd advocaat bij de hogere rechtbanken van Engeland en Wales. Na zoveel jaren aanwezigheid in de rechtbanken in verschillende rechtsgebieden, beschikt hij over een ruime ervaring in zeer complexe en vaak grensoverschrijdende aangelegenheden.
De verschillende juridische systemen in Europa zijn hem niet onbekend en hij beschikt ook over een jarenlange ervaring in het coördineren van internationale octrooiprocedures.
Benoît heeft daarnaast ook een uitgebreide ervaring opgebouwd met betrekking tot regulatoire vraagstukken waarmee leidinggevende biofarmaceutische ondernemingen worden geconfronteerd.

- Ceva Santé Animale v. Bayer. Treedt op voor Ceva Animale in Frankrijk en wereldwijde coordinatie van octrooizaken tegen Bayer re Forceris.
- DSM v. Novozymes. Het bijstaan van DSM in een inbreukprocedure met betrekking tot DSM’s octrooi op lactase technologie voor zuivelproducten.
- Heckler & Koch v FN Herstal. Inbreuk van FN Herstal op Heckler & Koch’s octrooi op delen van automatische geweren voor de politie en speciale troepen.
- Syngenta v. Life Scientific. Over processoctrooien bij de productie van azoxystrobin.
- In verschillende procedures tegen generieken mbt Faslodex, Crestor en Inexium.
