Davinia holds a degree in Law and has developed her professional practice in several firms specializing in Intellectual Property.
Her professional career has allowed her to amass extensive experience in the comprehensive management of important trademark portfolios, helping to define the protection strategies for intangible assets before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and in particular, in the prosecution of national trademarks before Trademark Offices in foreign countries, thanks to her experience in coordinating matters with local agents. Davinia has worked for national and international clients from many sectors, such as the pharmaceutical industry, the wine and food sector, the oil and electric power industry, the tobacco industry, perfumery and cosmetics, fashion, education, scientific research and sporting events, among others.
In addition, she has actively participated in the amicable resolution of conflicts in trademark matters through negotiations with third parties in the defense of her clients’ interests, including within the framework of the EUIPO Mediation Center’s protocol.
Before starting her professional career in Intellectual Property, she carried out intensive training in Spanish legislation during the preparation of the entrance exams to the Corps of Judges and Prosecutors, combining this task with teaching hybrid courses on local law aimed at training the staff of municipal bodies in the Provincial Council of Malaga.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS
- She provides advice on the coordination of the management of intangible rights of a major international organization that manages sporting events worldwide, for the resolution of conflicts and prosecutiong of trademark assets, designs and copyrights in the European Union before the EUIPO, as well as before the Offices of foreign countries.
- She has provided advice on the brand strategy of a well-known Spanish oil company regarding its assets around the world, including the preparation of its defense in disputes with third parties before the EUIPO and the SPTO.
- She has participated in the planning and implementation of trademark registration and design strategies for a multinational tobacco company, the owner of several of the best-known cigarette and vaping brands.
- She has managed the trademark matters of a well-known cosmetics firm in the prosecution of its trademarks, as well as the resolution of conflicts before the EUIPO and national offices abroad, including the negotiation of the acquisition of trademarks from competing third parties.
- She has coordinated the worldwide portfolio of a prestigious pharmaceutical company in all its trademark matters before the EUIPO and mainly before the national offices of foreign countries, including the multiple management of transfers and name changes between the companies of the business conglomerate.
- She has carried out the planning and implementation of the portfolio of national and international trademarks of the company that owns the most renowned franchise of English-language academies for children in the sector.
- She has successfully represented the Spanish National Research Council in conflicts with third parties for the protection of their trademark rights in the European Union before the EUIPO.
