Álvaro has extensive experience advising and representing national and international clients in all areas of intellectual property law. His practice focuses on developing strategies for the protection and enforcement of trademarks and industrial designs before national, European, and international offices (SPTO, EUIPO, and WIPO). He also has experience providing guidance in litigation related to trademarks, patents, copyright, industrial designs, Protected Designations of Origin and Geographical Indications, unfair competition, and trade secrets.
Throughout his career, he has worked with clients across a wide range of sectors, including food, pharmaceuticals, fashion, technology, and sports, as well as in the fields of consumer goods and entertainment.
In addition, he has a solid track record assisting companies in multiple commercial matters, participating in the drafting and negotiation of contracts, including, for example, distribution and sponsorship agreements.

- Advises the world’s leading soft drinks company on its European Union trademark matters before the EUIPO, as well as on Spanish trademarks before the OEPM.
- Advises a multinational tobacco company, owner of several of the most well-known cigarette and vaping brands worldwide.
- Has provided advice to one of the most recognized Spanish Regulatory Boards in the meat sector.
- Has provided advice to one of the most recognized padel brands in Europe.
